With its beautiful streets, charming downtown and highly ranked school system, Millburn is one of the most sought after towns along the New Jersey Transit Midtown Direct train line. The township was named "Millburn" in 1857, as a tribute to a local mill built on a stream, with "burn" being the Scottish name for "stream."
Millburn has two weekly newspapers: The Independent Press, distributed free, and The Item. Visit the official Millburn/Short Hills website for more information about this beautiful town.
